Since I’ve been looking for land, there have been a few properties that already have some buildings mouldering away on the premises. Though some of them would have to be torn down, often there is a decent garage or pole building that always strikes me as a starting line. And so, when I saw this transformation of a garage into living space, I was duly impressed.
It’s a bit more ambitious than I would probably muster (she raised the building up by four feet and added on an addition) but her sense of style is really lovely and simple and the place feels very open and inviting.
(Beautiful, right? Though, in what world would my medicine cabinet look like that? Maybe one where I look terrible all the time and only drink from whimsical ceramic vases.) C
